Green Health Accelerator welcomes mission-driven, early-to-growth-stage companies whose core activities align with both climate impact and social-business principles
Criteria Checklist
- Early-stage or pilot-ready startup
- Solution addresses challenges in Food & Waste Management, Smart Building & Energy, Mobility & Logistics, and Circularity
- Startups that provide solutions to reduce CO2 emissions
- Strong commitment to sustainability & healthcare impact
- Willingness to engage with clinics & partners during program
- Company is or will be registered in Germany
- Company is run according to impact values
- Company is max. 5 years old (up to 10 years old in specific cases)
- Company is independent
- Revenue less than 50M EUR
- Less than 50 employees
- Less than 220 - 240k EUR public de-minimis funding received so far

F6S profile: Create an F6S profile (if you don’t already have one): Provide details about your company, product, team, customers, and funding status. You can also upload your pitch deck. (20-30 minutes). Confirm and submit before 27 October 2025.

Questionnaire: Complete a brief questionnaire about your impact startup and how your product fits with our program. (30-60 minutes)

Interview: Mark your calendar: We will conduct 45-minute selection interviews 1 week after the application phase closes.

Selection: 20 companies will be selected.

Contract and Onboarding: Sign your contract and complete declarations regarding your company’s impact regulation and de-minimis status.

Plan your Travel: Clear your schedule and plan your travel to the kick-off bootcamp in Brandenburg.

Begin in December: Get to know your coaches and start the program with Online Academy and online workshops.

Is this program free of cost?
The program is fully publicly funded, meaning there is no cost to participants and no equity taken.
Who can apply?
Impact and climate startups with a mission, aligned with these sectors: Smart Building & Energy; Food & Waste Management; Circularity; Mobility & Logistics. Startups must: be registered in Germany; be independent; less than ~5 years old (in special cases up to 10 years); revenue under €50M; employees under 50.
What language should we apply in?
English
Is the program hybrid or in-person?
A six-month, hybrid program (mix of online + in-person).
What is expected from startups during the program?
- Application takes around 1 hour (filling form + 45-min interview).
- 3-day in-person Kick-off bootcamp in Brandenburg (travel reimbursed).
- 10 weeks online workshops and coaching (2-4h per week).
- Pilot phase: 3 months, both online & onsite.
What do you mean with €1k grant? Will we receive funding?
While there is no dedicated funding, each participating startup will receive a 1.000+ EUR budget including valuable conference passes, accommodation and travel cost.
What documents do I need to prepare?
We will need your pitch deck only. You can provide a video as well. You do not need a business plan, pitch deck, or financial projections.
How long is the application form?
We would expect a time invest to complete the original f6s startup profile to take between 20 and 30 minutes. If you already have a profile it will be 5 minutes to update and upload your current pitch deck. Our own questionnaire your fit to the program will take about 20-30 minutes to complete.
What specific information about my team, product, and traction do I need?
We will need to know when and where your company was incorporated and about your status of tech, product, market-entry, customers and funding.
How competitive is the selection process?
We will select about 20 startups for the first cohort out of 24-32 shortlisted startups. 8 of the best startups joining the program will progress to the pilot stage.
What happens after I submit my application?
Our jury of industry experts will evaluate your application and select a shortlist beginning in August. Our coaches will conduct 30-minute selection interviews from August 7-12. We will inform you about our decision until Aug 15.
What stage of development should my startup be at?
Your technology should be beyond the proof-of-concept stage and ready for minimal deployment within 3 months. Your financial runway should also extend for at least 6 months.
Do I meet the eligibility criteria?
We seek Social Businesses (Impact Startups) that provide solutions to reach carbon neutrality in the future. We accept companies (SMEs) registered in Germany that qualify as social business and are less than 5 years old, though we may consider businesses up to 10 years old in specific cases. Your previous public funding should not exceed the de-minimis value of 220-240k EUR (Please check next section for details.)
